What if you were in a physical space but it in itself did not feel physical, it felt fake? What if VR could feel more real than the physical space you are in?
Animex International focuses on wildlife mitigation solutions. They design mitigation products with both animals and contractors in mind. In a rapidly developing world, the Animex Bridge can reconnect fragmented habitats for dormice, red squirrels and other arboreal animals.
Our brief was to get children who had no prior knowledge or education on wildlife bridges to understand why it is important unused bridges are rewilded. In our case specifically for the hazel dormouse. With an interactive and educational prototype we needed to evoke empathy for the nearly extinct dormouse and educate on how it might use the wildlife bridge to survive.
How might we build an interactive and educational prototype to evoke empathy for the nearly extinct dormouse and educate children on how it uses wildlife bridges to survive?
